M.S. in biology with a focus on mathematical biology, Novosibirsk State University, 1985.

Originator of the “fuzzy puzzle” concept for modelling gene regulatory regions.

Developed upstream analysis for identifying biomarkers and drug targets across diseases.

Author of more than 130 scientific publications and several book chapters.

CEO and CSO of geneXplain GmbH, Wolfenbüttel; Visiting Professor at RCSI, Dublin.
