alpha IIb-integrin: Integrin alpha 2b, a receptor that plays a role in cytoskeleton reorganization, calcium-dependent cell adhesion, blood coagulation, phagocytosis, and angiogenesis; gene mutations are associated with Glanzmann thrombasthenia and coronary thrombosis
